Review: Dear Lyla by Danielle Keil

Image
Dear Lyla by Danielle Keil Everyone at Ryder High knows what it means to have a teal envelope taped to their locker on the first day of the month. Lyla Moore has been waiting for hers for years, ever since her older brother had been involved in the Secret Admirer organization and numerous of his friends participated. She knows all about the tradition thanks to him, but there’s one thing she never foresaw—the way her admirer sends his clues. It’s unlike anything she thought it would be, and honestly, she’s a little intimidated. Lyla has a starring role in the spring musical at the end of the month, and her admirer is using that to his advantage. He’s sneaking around the theater, leaving her notes Phantom of the Opera style. Can Lyla find her phantom in time or will she watch as everything goes up in flames My Review: My rating: 5 of 5 stars I really enjoy the series this is actually what's the answer calls season 2 of this series I believe the first part of the series of books that ...

Dear Wyatt by Danielle Keil Everyone at Ryder High knows what it means to have a teal envelope taped to their locker on the first day of the month. For Wyatt Anderson, it seems like an April Fool’s Day prank. She quickly realizes it’s not, but the way her secret admirer sends his clues might just be. Wyatt is one of the smartest girls in school, but the ciphers she’s given to decode really test her abilities. On top of that, the answers she uncovers make  no  sense. Until she realizes how to connect all the clues together… The other problem? She finds herself around one of her tutoring clients more often than usual… and with that proximity comes some feelings she wasn’t expecting. It all comes down to the last letter and the last clue. Can she solve the toughest one yet or will she throw in the towel for another guy? My Review: My rating: 5 of 5 stars I really enjoyed this book I love both series dealing with secret admirers I like to see the opposites attract trope in some of...

Dear Phoebe by Danielle Keil Everyone at Ryder High knows what it means to have a teal envelope taped to their locker on the first day of the month. The envelope is part of a tradition called the Secret Admirers, something the students go crazy for. After tragedy struck, no one thought there would be an admirer this month. However, a little late, a teal envelope shows up on Phoebe Calloway’s locker. And with it, an ongoing playlist to use as clues toward the admirer’s identity. It’s music to Phoebe’s ears—especially since music is her biggest passion. But she soon finds out it’s not the melody that’s important in the songs her admirer chose. It’s the lyrics. As the songs keep coming, she’s close to figuring out who he is—but is she prepared for the actual reveal? My Review: My rating: 5 of 5 stars I really enjoyed this book and also Liked the 1st series of this So I was really excited when she came out with the second I really enjoyed this book I read the 1st part of the series I was r...

Each book is a fast-paced adventure with lively art and a unique format kid 7-10 will love. I was so excited about Christmas, I could squeak! My favorite nephew Benjamin was going to come over, and we were planning to trim the tree and eat lots of delicious holiday Cheesy Chews. But before you could say "cat alert," disaster struck! I slipped over my tail and ended up in the hospital. And then my mouse hole caught on fire! Holey cheese, this was turning out to be the worst Christmas ever.... My Review: My rating: 3 of 5 stars This was a book I read as a kid I Definitely Liked it better as a kid than I do rereading it now For a TBR jar Prompt But maybe it was just this book So if I get the same Prompt again, I may try another book in the series

Review: Twilight by Stephenie Meyer

Image
Twilight by Stephenie Meyer   About three things I was absolutely positive. First, Edward was a vampire. Second, there was a part of him—and I didn't know how dominant that part might be—that thirsted for my blood. And third, I was unconditionally and irrevocably in love with him. Deeply seductive and extraordinarily suspenseful, Twilight is a love story with bite. My Review: My rating: 5 of 5 stars This is a good book. I can't wait to continue reading this series.
