Review Policy

I accept the following formats of books:

  • ..Mobi
  • ..Prc
  • ..PDF

    I LOVE to read traditional (large and small press), Indie and self-published novels in the following genres:

    • Middle grade
    •  Young Adult 
    • Disability representation
    • Mystery

     

     All books may be submitted to kaeliesreadsblog@gmail.com for consideration.  Please note that not all submissions will be accepted.  Please include in your email

    • Title
    • Author
    • Genre
    • Brief Description
    • Your website
    • Deadline (timeframe) to be read

      No compensation or payment is received in exchange for an honest review.  Reviews are posted to my blog, Goodreads. I will forward you a link when my review goes live. If your book is accepted and I cannot finish it or cannot give it a good rating, I will contact you to provide you with feedback as to why I cannot post my review.

      Kaelie’s Reads rating structure:

      1 star & 2 star – this book was not something I enjoyed and, in some cases, may have chosen not to finish – I will most likely not review; I will try to provide the author/publisher with constructive feedback.

        ·         5 plus stars – this will be awarded in rare occasions when a book is something I just can’t shake.  

        My goal is to provide professional and heartfelt reviews about the books and authors I adore. I feel that is best way to accomplished this is by taking my time to write in-depth reviews for the books at the top of my rating scale. 

        Please share your constructive feedback with me, it is how I learn and grow. 

        Please feel free to email me with any news updates, book signings, hosting/participating in blog tours, and upcoming releases.  I will do my best to include relevant news posts onto my blog.

Each book is a fast-paced adventure with lively art and a unique format kid 7-10 will love. I was so excited about Christmas, I could squeak! My favorite nephew Benjamin was going to come over, and we were planning to trim the tree and eat lots of delicious holiday Cheesy Chews. But before you could say "cat alert," disaster struck! I slipped over my tail and ended up in the hospital. And then my mouse hole caught on fire! Holey cheese, this was turning out to be the worst Christmas ever.... My Review: My rating: 3 of 5 stars This was a book I read as a kid I Definitely Liked it better as a kid than I do rereading it now For a TBR jar Prompt But maybe it was just this book So if I get the same Prompt again, I may try another book in the series
